WalthersProto HO Scale 89’ Flatcar With Canopy

During the early 1980’s Rockwell B-1 bomber aircraft fuselage components were shipped by this railcar to Palmdale, California for final assembly. This canopy car was designed to carry the B-1 Intermediate fuselage assemblies from Grand Prairie, Texas to Palmdale. This model was built based on information gathered in the book written by Andrew Klamka, Shipping Planes on Trains, volume 3.
